Uniform Regulations


аMale Uniforms:

- Hair off ears and collar, short military-style.
- Clean shaved face; mustaches no wider than the width of the mouth.
- Side burns no lower than the tragus portion of the ear.
- No jewelry with the uniform, only watches on the left hand and not showy.
- Black socks, no seam pattern.

When In Class A:

- HUD Insignia: Centered, 1/4 inch above the nameplate.
- Academic Wreath: Centered 1/8 inch above the nameplate.
- Name Plate: Centered on right jacket pocket and centered from button to top of pocket.
- Unit Crest: Centered 1/4 inch above the HUD insignia.
- Ribbons: Centered above left chest pocket, 1/8 inch up.
- Arcs: Centered under right chest pocket. If more then one then centered, 1/4 inch between each arc.
- JROTC Insignia (Officers): 5/8 inch up on the upper lapel, centered, and perpendicular to the inside seam of the collar.
- Cords: A maximum of two cords can be worn. If one is worn, it goes on the left. If two are worn, the highest goes on the left.
- Medals: A medal or badge should be worn 1/8 below the top seam of the left chest pocket and centered. A maximum of three can be worn.

When In Class B:

- Rank: On shoulder tabs.

- Name Plate: Centered on right blouse pocket and centered from button to top of pocket.

- Unit Crest: Centered above name plate, ╝ inch up.


Female Uniforms:

- Hair must be off ears and collar. (Preferably in a low bun.)
- Only black or hair-colored hair ties and bands can be worn.
- Watches, wedding rings, engagement rings, or small religious necklaces may be worn. (Cannot be gaudy, necklaces must be under shirt.)
- Black socks or skin-colored nylons.
- Only one set of stud earrings (silver, pearl, or diamond) can be worn, and only in the earlobe.
- No flashy or excessive amount of make-up should be worn, only natural colors approved.
- Only clear nail polish is acceptable.


When In Class A:

- HUD Insignia: Centered, 1/4 inch above the nameplate.
- Academic Wreath: Centered 1/8 inch above the nameplate.
- Name Plate: Centered on right jacket chest and bottom of plate aligned with top of top bottom.
- Unit Crest: Centered 1/4 inch above the HUD Insignia.
- Ribbons: The bottom ribbon row is aligned with the top of the first button; center on the seam.
- Arcs: Place on the seam of the right jacket chest, 1/4 inch between each, centered.
- JROTC Insignia (Officers): 5/8 inch up on the upper lapel, centered, and perpendicular to the inside seam of the collar.
- Cords: A maximum of two cords can be worn. If one is worn, it goes on the left. If two are worn, the highest goes on the left.
- Medals: A medal or badge should be worn 1/4 inch below the ribbons and centered. A maximum of three can be worn.

When In Class B:


- Rank: On shoulder tabs.
- Name Plate: Aligned with the top button and centered on the seam.
- Unit Crest: Centered above name plate, 1/4 inch up.

Cords:

A maximum ofаtwo cords can be worn. If one is worn, it goes on the left. If two are worn, the highest goes on the left. If you are wearing a school cord, it is always worn on the right. The cords are in order from highest to lowest.

Arcs:

The arcs are worn on the right pocket evenly spaced. The arcs are listed in the order they should be worn.

Badges:

Rifle badges are worn on the right pocket, below the seem. They are listed in order of highest to lowest.
